ATHLETICS: Grantham AC duo run on Christmas Day

Grantham Athletic Club had two athletes competing at the Peterborough parkrun on Christmas Day.

Dawn Hunt managed to go 34 seconds under the 30-minute barrier, setting a new personal in the process.

Performance of the weekend went to Naomi Collier who added the Coventry event to her list of venues where she has won the ladies’ race.

At the Belton House event on Boxing Day, under-15 athlete Isabel Hobday had a superb run, finishing as third female in a time of 22:58. Ian Worral had a fine run, along with 14 other club members, and was rewarded with a PB for his 28:17 effort.
