ATHLETICS: Grantham AC perform well in the heat

Grantham Athletic Club had two athletes tackle the midweek Notts 5-mile road race.

Posting respectable times in the hot conditions, Tony Madge finished 67th in 33min 30sec and Steve Dickinson (49:03) was 256th.

Eighteen of the club’s runners turned out at four parkruns over the weekend.

Naomi Collier maintained her track performance, winning the ladies event at Belton Park.

Also at Belton, under-13 athlete Harry Denton (pictured) made his debut parkrun with a very impressive 20:43 time.
