Grantham AC athlete Naomi Collier is pictured after winning the silver medal in last week’s British Universities and Colleges Sports (BUCS) Indoor Championships at Sheffield.

She achieved a new 1500m personal best of 4min 27.17sec in the final.

In recent weeks, Naomi has won silver at the Northern Indoor Championships, and helped her university to secure team silver in the BUCS Cross Country Championships. Last weekend, she was a finalist in the prestigious British Athletics Indoor Championships, also held in Sheffield.

Grantham Athletic Club are extremely proud of Naomi and look forward to seeing her successes in the outdoor track season this year, and to welcoming her back to training at The Meres on her breaks from university.
