ATHLETICS: Grantham’s Arthurian legend never falls Short

Two members of Grantham Athletic Club competed in the St Ives 10km on Sunday.

Club stalwart Arthur Short finished a respectable 24th in 39min 30sec and fellow veteran Phil Hall recorded 53:46.

Grantham AC fielded six athletes in three parkruns over the weekend. Dona Hall continued her assault on her personal best at the Lincoln event, reducing it by 16 seconds.

Results: Lincoln – 69 Richard Hall 23:25, 2

33 Dona Hall 34:15; Newark – 32 Keith Measures 23:22, 85 Dave Eldridge 27:01; Melton – 26 Janice Anderson 24:46, 28 John Ellerby 25:16.
