Grantham Athletic Club had a bumber 11 athletes out competing in 5km Parkruns over the weekend.
Adam Madge continued his London Marathon tapering with a win at Newark, and Naomi Collier took the ladies’ first position, only four places behind clubmate Adam. Her father Geoff knocked 1min 8sec off his personal best.
The husband and wife Hall duo put in fine performances at Newark, while the Hunt trio made Peterborough a family affair.
Dean Houlton continued his excellent performance on the testing Clumber Park course, finishing in second place.

l Two Grantham AC members joined more than 600 runners in the Bank Holiday sunshine at the Wollaton Park 10km.

l Grantham AC athletes Amy Hunt and Aaron Hunt competed in the Charnwood warm-up open meeting at Loughborough on Saturday, with both athletes running exceptionally well at this early point in the athletics season.
Amy, who has this year moved up to the under-15 girls, ran 12.73sec in the 100m to set the second fastest time in her age group in the country this year. She also ran in the 200m race, setting a time of 25.9sec, the eighth fastest time in the country for her age this year.
Meanwhile, clubmate Aaron ran in the 1500m and knocked 13 seconds off his personal best to finish in a time of 4min 37.57sec. This currently ranks Aaron 15th in the country for his age group.
