Bingham Cricket Club enjoyed an end of season celebration with special guest Mick Newell, director of cricket at Nottinghamshire CCC, in attendance.

The club had plenty to celebrate with promotions for the two Saturday league teams, as well as their under-13s winning the Newark Colts League.

Club chairman Paul Maylard-Mason also announced that the club would be launching a new Saturday third team which will play in the South Notts League next year.

Paul said: “With the astonishing on-field success we’ve enjoyed this year, it’s only right to celebrate our achievements, but we also need to keep firmly focused on developing for the future. We hope our

third team will do just that.”
