Chairman of Harrowby United steps down

Harrowby United this week announced that chairman Mr Jason Lee has decided to step down from his position at the club due to increased work commitments.

The club expressed its thanks to Jason for all his hard work during his tenure and wished him well for the future.

Jason’s legacy during his six months at the helm includes continued improvements to the ground and social club and assistance with gaining the club FA Charter Standard.

He was also instrumental in liaising with Paul Durrands to start the Harrowby United ladies’ and girls’ football teams which will flourish going forward and leave the club in a very stable condition. .

Jason said: “It has been a pleasure and privilege to work at Harrowby United and I have enjoyed every moment of the challenging role.

“The club has a fantastic group of players who have shown already this season that they can mix it with the best in the league, and I would personally like to thank everyone involved with the club, both staff and players, and also social club customers, for all their help during my time there”
