Bingham CC are expecting a bumper crowd in the region of 1,000 for their match versus Lashings All Stars on Friday, May 27, starting at 4pm.

The likes of South African Herschelle Gibbs, West Indians Tino Best and Gordon Greenidge and Ashes Winner Simon Jones will all be in the squad to take on a Bingham Select XI captained by ex-Leicestershire Captain Matthew Boyce.

Tickets are available for the match (priced £5 for adults, £2 for children and £10 for a family ticket), as are full hospitality places in the marquee with entertainment starting from noon.

Club chairman Paul Maylard-Mason said: “We’re tremendously excited about the day and can’t wait to meet the Lashings squad. It’s a unique opportunity for the public to watch these legends of the game in a club environment just metres from the action. We hope that people from all over will come along to watch the game.”
