Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club and former England wicket keeper Chris Read visited the Mark Fell Cricket Academy last week to run a training session with Grantham Cricket Club wicket keepers, ranging from under-10s to first team players.

Head coach at Grantham CC and director of cricket for Lincolnshire, Mark said: “We are delighted that Chris has agreed to take part in some really specialist coaching for our wicket keepers.

“He is widely respected in the cricketing world and this is a fantastic opportunity for both our players and our coaches, who will all benefit from his knowledge and experience.”

Chris will continue to visit Grantham CC regularly over the coming months, before heading a wicket keeping academy at the Mark Fell Cricket Academy over the winter, to which other local clubs will be invited.
