Grantham Cricket Club have picked up their trophy for finishing second in last season’s Lincolnshire ECB Premier League.

Dan Webb received the shield on behalf of the club from ex-England international Paul Nixon at the awards night held at Hemswell Court.

Webb also picked up the Lincs Echo Bowling Trophy on behalf of Grantham’s Dan Freeman.

Ex-Leicestershire wicketkeeper Nixon, who played 19 One Day Internationals for his country, later entertained club representatives with his tales of touring with the national side.
