The traditional end-of-season two-up and tandem 10-mile time trial took place on Gorse Lane last Tuesday.
Damp and cold weather replaced the warmth of the summer and times were slower, with punctures claiming several victims.
Quickest pair were veterans Martin Hedley and Rick Yates in 24min 35sec, from father and son combination Mick and Reece Egner in 24.51. Mark Turner and Lorne Jones were a further 24 seconds adrift, with Adam Egner and Darren Reed fourth in 25.52.
The only tandem on the night was piloted by Simon Cocker, with wife Gill acting as stoker, and the pair completed the course in 30.28.
