Nettleham Police HQ was the venue for the latest round of the Lincolnshire Cyclo-cross League on Sunday.

Despite recent rain, the course remained relatively dry and rode really well.

Witham Wheelers were represented in all age categories.

More than 50 riders in total took part in the under-12 event and Wheeler Tazmin Brown pedalled well to pip clubmate Max Moore to 13th place.

In the under-16s, there was a good battle between Robert McAndrew and Adam Egner who finished fourth and six respectively.

There was a good representation of club riders in the veteran over-40 race, with Paul Conneely leading the way home.

In the senior/junior/lady event, Adam Jackson rode another good race to just get in the top 20 and Jennifer McAndrew rode her best race of the cross season to take first lady and 32nd overall.

Reece Egner was under par this week and dropped back to 43rd and fifth junior while Vicki Saffaris 58th (eighth lady) and Heidi Moulds 59th (ninth lady) continued to improve as they gain experience and fitness.

Results: under-12 – 13 Tazmin Brown, 14 Max Mooe, 19 Bill Reed, 23 Mazel Brown, 29 Leo Moore, 32 Jessica East, 39 Joshua Farmer, 41 Callum East; veteran over-40 – 20 Paul Conneely (fourth V50), 27 Sean East, 35 John Farmer, 38 Simon Cocker (11th V50), 40 Dave Moulds (13th V50), 60 Dave Miller (5th V60).
