A fund-raising exhibition match and auction raised more than £500 for Cancer Research last Monday evening.

The event was organised by Dave Pearson and took place at the Railway Club, with around 60 people in attendance.

Star of the night was PDC player Ian ‘Diamond’ White who donated a set of darts and signed a dartboard which went for £30 in the auction.

Organiser Dave said the event went well and there were a total of 40 prizes in the raffle.

He said: “I’m very pleased, we raised £565. It was a good night.”

The event was sponsored by Lincolnshire Fire Aid.
