FOOTBALL: Quality pitch and facilities up for grab in Skillington

A local village has some superb footballing facilities going for grabs – so if your team is struggling to find a pitch for next season, head to Skillington.

The football pitch at Skillington pitch is adjacent to the village’s community centre which has modern changing room facilities, including a separate room for match officials.

The pitch itself is professionally maintained and last year the nets and corner flags were replaced with new items and so the village is keen to find a team worthy of their resources.

FC Genes played on the superb ground at Skillington with great success, finishing last season as Grantham and District Sunday League Premier Division champions.

Sadly for the Skillington community, FC Genes have decided to move on and so the facilities are once again available.

If you are interested in making use of the pitch and community centre, contact Maria on 07500 544449.
