Grantham Town have signed a new striker ahead of tomorrow’s match at second in the league Ilkeston FC.
The registration of 20-year-old Linkulhle Ndlovu from Holbeach United went through after the submission of some additional paperwork.
During his time at Holbeach, Lee Dube, as he has been known, scored 20 goals for the club this season.
Gingerbreads boss Adam Stevens said: “Lee is a big strong forward who will add to our options up front.
“I believe he will complement those we already have at the club and give us options where it hurts.”
Unfortunately, Dube was not at Town in time to be part of their strong performance against league leaders FC United of Manchester on Saturday.
Looking to tomorrow’s game against old foes Ilkeston, in their last four matches the Robins have won 1-0 at Blyth Spartans, won 2-1 at Ramsbottom United, drawn 0-0 at home to Ashton United, and lost 4-0 at Curzon Ashton.
Top scorer so far in 2015 is midfielder James Reid, formerly with Nottingham Forest and Telford United. Look out for defender Joe Maguire too as he also has an eye for goal.
Kick-off at Ilkeston is 3pm.
