Grantham Town travel to Chorley

Have your say

Grantham Town face a possibly tricky match against promotion chasers Chorley on Saturday (January 4).

But second-placed Chorley’s winning streak has been interrupted of late with several draws, including a 2-2 affair at Stocksbridge Park Steels last Saturday.

Striker Josh Hine was signed in the summer from fellow title contenders Skelmersdale United for whom he scored 22 times last season.

Quick Jamaican forward Darren Stephenson was signed from Southport and fellow front man James Dean has Football League experience with Bury and is a big, fast and powerful force with which to contend.

Central midfielder Dale Whitham also has an eye for goal, as has versatile winger Paul Jarvis who made his name at Lancaster City.
