Buckminster started brightly and put Harrowby on the back foot from the off.

Bucky got the breakthrough when a hopeful ball over the top from Jason Bowers was headed into his own net by the visiting defender.

United went on the hunt for more goals, and it was not long before Danny Moore found his range and curled in a 25-yard free kick.

Bucky continued their search and another goal came before the break, and again it was Moore who notched his second after great work in the midfield from the tireless Wayne Martini and Lewis Kettle, who won the midfield battle.

The second half followed the same pattern, with the home side keeping possession well and always looking a threat.

Moore went down on the scoresheet again, grabbing a hat trick after a jinking run ended with a lob into the net for Bucky’s fourth.

Man-of-the-match Kettle completed the United scoring. After a flowing move down the right, the ball was pulled back for the youngster to calmly slot into the bottom corner.

The visitors side got a consolation when veteran Bowers could not handle the pace of Stinson and brought him down in the box. The penalty was despatched but the final score kept Bucky firmly installed at the top of the league.
