YOUTH FOOTBALL: Great Ponton under-11’s slow start costs them victory

Great Ponton lost 4-1 at Aslockton in the GYFL Under-11 League on Sunday.

A slow start cost Ponton victory as they found themselves 2-0 down in the first five minutes. Ponton settled into the game and Joseph De’Ath pulled a goal back.

In an end-to-end second half, Ponton struck the woodwork three times before being caught on the break, as the home side added two more goals in the last few minutes. Ponton’s man of the match was Flynn Armstrong.
