Lincs Under-14 County Cup
Harrowby United 5
The lads travelled to Nettleham who have only been beaten once at home in the last three years – and that was by the young Arrows in the league earlier on in the season, by a solitary goal.
Harrowby set out their stall pretty early in the game and, playing against the blustery wind, soon applied pressure on the hosts.
One such attack released top scorer Kye Hull who side stepped a defender and neatly finished at the near post, giving the young Arrows a 1-0 half time advantage.
Harrowby, as a team, are growing in confidence each week and, with the wind at their backs, they ran riot in the second half.
Hull soon notched his second and his strike partner Matt Cox got on the scoresheet with a clinical finish.
Playing some of their best football this season, Harrowby had not finished yet. Hull once again broke through the Nettleham defence and stroked the ball home for his well deserved hat-trick.
Not wanting to be outdone, Cox cracked home his second and number five for the team, sending the young Arrows into the semi-finals.
Manager and coach Simon Down awarded the whole team man of the match for their outstanding attitude and hard work.
