Bennington took the lead early on through Liam Lund.

Iwan Evans goal increased the advantage before Ruskington replied with a penalty.

Jack Marshall tapped in to ensure Bennington’s promotion bid stayed on track.

Barrowby suffered a cup hangover, going down to a goal mid way through the first half.

Lions were 3-0 up at the break with goals from Down, Cullen and a Cooper penalty.

Foister (MoM) completed a hat trick, with Hands and Cooper adding one apiece. Louth scored late on.

Gonerby 4

Long Bennington 1

The deadlock was broken when Bramley tapped in for Gonerby. After the break, Novak scored with a powerful drive before Bennington pulled a goal back.

Two late goals from Baker and Okoth sealed the points.
