Barrowby FC 1

Holbrook St Michaels 1

Barrowby went into the game on the back of two defeats but with an unbeaten home record to maintain.

The home side enjoyed the majority of possession in the first half and created several good chances, including a Barry Payne thunderbolt that came back off the cross bar.

Barrowby made the breakthrough early in the second half with a long ball flicked on by Warner into the path of Glencross who coolly slotted home.

With 20 minutes remaining, a poor touch in the away midfield found its way through to the winger who rounded Flavell only for the referee to have judged the keeper to made contact and a penalty was awarded. It was slotted home to level the game.
