Belton Woods club captain Harry McKeen held his charity day, raising money for his chosen charity, the Stroke Association, in memory of his son Paul who tragically passed away a couple of years ago.

The competition was played in typical British summer weather – lots of rain – and some fantastic hospitality was provided by Harry’s wife Freda and other members of the club.

There were some great prizes and competition winners on the day were Paul Foulkes, Neville Hibbitt, Andy Bond and Robby Williams with a tremendous 102 points. Nearest the pin and straightest drive prizes were also presented on the day.

There was also a charity auction after the prize presentation which contributed to the grand total of £3,300 being raised for the charity on the day.
