GOLF: Belton Woods support Olympic Legacy

Since 2012, Inspire+ have been running an Olympic Legacy Tour across Primary and Secondary Schools in South Lincolnshire

This year to celebrate that golf has once again been included in the Olympic programme for 2016, Belton Woods Golf Club, in partnership with Legacy + and the Golf Foundation, are supporting the tour by supervising the Tri Golf Challenge in schools.

PGA teaching professional Iain Fulton and the club’s junior organiser Ken Claxon have so far supervised more than 1,000 pupils competing in the golf challenge

Tri-Golf plastic golf clubs and soft golf balls and targets are being taken to 51 primary schools in turn to enable as many children as possible to have a try at golf

After participation, all pupils are being offered a free group golf lesson at Belton Woods Golf Academy during the Easter holidays.

Iain said: “We would love as many children as possible to play the game and they are more than welcome to bring as many friends as they like.”

For more information on free lessons and any other golf coaching available at Belton Woods, contact ifulton@qhotelsgolfacademies.co.uk or call 07810 486162.
