Grantham Town announce pre-season amendments

Grantham Town have announced some amendments to their pre-season fixtures.

The Gingerbreads will now host National League North side York City instead of travelling to Gresley FC on Saturday, July 22.

Managed by former Town boss Gary Mills, The Minstermen and Grantham will play for the George and Marge Freeston Memorial Trophy.

The Lincolnshire County Senior Cup match against Spalding United will now be played on Friday, July 14. Nottingham Forest are now coming to The Meres on Friday, July 28. Both matches kick off at 7.45pm.

An additional fixture has been added when the Gingerbreads travel to Newark Flowserve on Saturday, July 8. The match will be in aid of Beaumond House Community Hospice and kicks off at 2pm

The updated pre-season fixture list is as follows:

July 8 – Newark Flowserve (A) 2pm

July 14 – Spalding United (LCC), (H)

July 17 – Lincoln United (A)

July 22 – York City (H)

July 25 – Mansfield Town (H)

July 28 – Nottingham Forest (H)

August 1 – Loughborough Dynamo (A)

August 5 – Prescot Cables (A)
