Grantham Town 1

Grantham Town ended up taking a share of the points after they led for the majority of the game.

Liam Hurst put the Gingerbreads in front in the ninth minute.

A long ball forward was held up well by Liam Read. Rhys Lewis crossed through the penalty area where Hurst stroked in past the reach of goalkeeper Matt Sargeant from 15 yards.

Grantham looked to have the game and all three points in the bag until it went into injury time when Aaron Griffiths’ throw-in from the left was headed on by substitute Aaron Lloyd for Aaron Forde to steer in past the diving Jake Turner.

Grantham Town: Turner, Purcicoe (c), Hurst, Miveld, Kay, Hollingsworth, Meadows, Lewis, Read (Bilyk, 86), Saunders, Emmott. Subs not used: Hellewell, Farmer, Rhule.
