Harrowby United have wasted no time in appointing a new man at the top.

The club this week announce that Michael Atter has been appointed as the club’s new chairman after Jason Lee stepped down from the role last week.

Michael has been appointed from within the club and has been involved as secretary since the club’s resurrection in 2012.

He has also been doing the treasurer’s job for the last few months.

Michael has a long standing affiliation to the Arrows, having also been involved in previous years as a player, manager, assistant manager; basically undertaking any job thrown his way.

The club said it sees Michael’s appointment as a another positive step in establishing the club in the local community and that it will ensure a smooth transition as they fast approach the half way point of the season.

General manager and match day secretary Simon Jackson will step up into the vacant club secretary role.
