Harrowby United welcomed Army side 7th Regiment RLC, based at Cottesmore, to the Environcom Stadium on Tuesday night for a pre-season friendly which raised £70 for Help For Heroes.

The Arrows donated half the moderate entrance fee to the military charity.

In a good workout for both sides, there was no score for the first half an hour before Arrows went in front through Ricky Brewer. Reece Self added a second just before the break to send the home side in two goals to the good at half tine.

Sam Weatherstone added a third shortly after the restart and a fourth came from Simon Mowbray. Scott Webb completed a nap hand for the Arrows, before Danny Durkin added a sixth late on.
