Dry Doddington’s heroic Olympian hockey player Shona McCallin collected her MBE at Buckingham Palace last week.

Shona was accompanied at the award presentation by her grandmother Eva Nullis and her parents, Wendy and Ivan McCallin.

A former KGGS pupil, 24-year-old Shona currently trains full time with Great Britain hockey and is based at Bisham Abbey, near Maidenhead.
