Fifteen members of Grantham Swimming Club competed in the Louth Dolphin Meridian Open Meet last weekend.
The club continued to improve and the boys led the way with three new club records.
Cameron Chow delivered some strong performances, culminating in a new club record in the 400m individual medley. Caleb Mackey also raced well and improved his 200m freestyle time by two seconds which was enough to also set a new club record. Another new club record was set when Thomas Lewis bettered his previous time by three seconds in the 200m backstroke.
Eleanor Lythgoe improved in all her races, with Imogen Raistrick showing her strength in the 200m IM, 400m freestyle and 100m backstroke.
Lizzie Cambell, Ella Coleman, Matthew Smith, Mia Smith, Katie Beardsmore, George Berwick, Billy Reed, Luke Marriot, Rosie Belcher and Amelia Peters all swam personal bests in one or more of their races.
