Cliffedale Chandler Cadets along with players from other parts of the county represented Lincolnshire in the Cadet County Championships at The Meres leisure centre on Saturday.

They went head to head against Leicestershire, and Northamptonshire and Cambridgeshire first and second strings.

All played between eight and 10 matches with varied results, the pick of which was Alexandra Robinson winning seven out of her 10 games. Benjamin Rigby and Josh Kettle chipped in with a win apiece and Flynn Connolly was unfortunate not to get a couple of wins himself.

All played extremely well and represented themselves, the club and the county with honour.

The club have had other players represent the county recently – Sarah Henderson, Stefania Popa and Aalhad Kulkarni – all of whom were unable to attend these latest championships.
