King’s School under-18s qualified for London Schools competition final last Tuesday.

Held at the City of London School, the semi-finals saw them take on the host school, Alleyn’s School and Haberdashers Aske’s (Habs) – and remain undefeated.

Coached by former player Luke Holdsworth, King’s School’s first game was against favourites Habs who they defeated 2-1. A 3-2 victory over Alleyn’s set up a final game against home side City of London.

The game was scrappy at times and the goals ebbed and flowed, but King’s dug in and set up a rematch for the final in March. The final score was four goals apiece

All the King’s goals were scored by Tom “Tiger” Ballaam

The team also comprised Joe Scarborough, captain Elliot Potter, Isaac Musson, Alastair Wyatt, Myles Bell, Adam Mayer, Conor Coyle, Tom Roe and Alex George.
