Nottingham Forest will return to Grantham’s Meres stadium for the first time in 20 years

Nottingham Forest top the list of the Gingerbreads pre-season fixtures in preparation for the 2016/17 Evo-Stik Premier Division campaign.

For the first match, it is the visit of National League side Lincoln City in the quarter-final of the Lincolnshire FA Senior Trophy on Friday, July 8, kick-off 7.45pm. Admission to this match is £10 adults, £6 concessions

Grantham Town will then travel to the other side of town on July 12 to play Harrowby United, kick-off again is 7.45pm

Next for The Gingerbreads is a meeting with old rivals Kings Lynn Town on July 19, kick-off 7.45pm at The Meres. Four days later is a trip to Lincoln United, now managed by former Gingerbread Sam Wilkinson, kick-off 3pm.

Mansfield Town will be next to visit The Meres on July 26, kick-off 7.30pm.

Then on Tuesday, August 2, Nottingham Forest return to The Meres for the first time in 20 years. It is expected that Sky Bet Championship side will bring a strong team for the fixture. Kick-off is 7.45pm and it is ‘Kids for a Quid’, £10 adults, £6 concessions

On Saturday, August 6, Grantham Town head to Rugby Town and this kicks off at 1pm

All home friendlies where no admission prices have been state, it will be £6 adults, £4 concessions.
