RUGBY: Kesteven RFC youngsters session is supported by Leicester Tigers
Kesteven RFC has organised an open morning at the Woodnook-based club, on the High Dyke (NG33 5AA), from 10am this Sunday to get girls and boys between the ages of four and 17 playing rugby.
Children can turn up on Sunday for the Kesteven Rugby Mini and Junior Day having never touched a rugby ball and still have fun.
Trainers or boots are fine for the session and it will be non-contact so no gumshields required. Fully checked staff and separate age groups.
The taster sessions will finish at 12 noon after which the club has Leicester Tigers bringing their ‘maul wall’ over to Grantham with games and challanges. There will also be a bungee run, gladiator game, and an assault course for the kids.
There will be a grand raffle with prizes including four Tigers tickets, and a round of golf for four at Belton Woods.
Food and drink are available on site all day and at 2pm the England versus Italy Six Nations match will be screened in the clubhouse, with full bar. Everybody welcome.
