Kesteven were again affected by injuries and unavailability, forcing a number of changes.
These saw James Goodrich make the change to the back row which included former captain Andy Peabody at number eight.

Loughborough had some strong runners and midway through the half they scored the opening try through their centre. The conversion failed.
Wood just failed with a long range penalty and Tom Miles almost made it through but was stopped short.
The visitors spent the final few minutes on the attack but good strong Kesteven defence kept them out.
Kesteven started strongly in the second half but it was Loughborough who increased their points tally. They scored with two penalties in quick succession, and then ran in a try from the restart to effectively take the game away from Kesteven.
The rest of the half was uninspiring and it was left to Loughborough to run the game down with two further tries, to earn themselves the all important bonus point.
This was a disappointing day for Kesteven. Purvis led from the front with some good strong runs and Goodrich also made inroads into the defence, but there was a lack of continuity.
The first team have a blank day this weekend before the important match away at Market Bosworth.
