There was a good turnout of entries for the second primary schools table tennis tournament of the season at The Meres.

The event was organised by Cliffedale Chandlers Table Tennis Club, in conjunction with GAPS (Grantham Academy Primary and Secondary schools), with more than 20 schoolchildren from 10 primary schools participating in the Easter tournament.

Each player received a certificate of participation and medals were awarded for the top three positions in each age category.

Results: under-9 boys – 1 Lucas Gurney (Belmont), 2 Billy Auckland (Cliffedale), 3 Jake Crane (Barrowby); under-9 girls – 1 Emily Winfield (Huntingtower), 2 Hannah Latter (Cliffedale), 3 Sophie Peters (Belmont); under-11 boys – 1 Jai Mistry-Moulton (Cliffedale), 2 Samuel Oliver (Great Ponton), 3 Jake Sutton (Cliffedale); under-11 girls – 1 Stefania Popa (Cliffedale), 2 Amber Halsey (Cliffedale), 3 Darcy Ormester.
