TABLE TENNIS: Top notch play in Grantham league’s top division

Table Tennis news.
Table Tennis news.

The match of the week in Grantham and District Table Tennis League came in Division One.

The match was between Lincs Taxis and Navenby and saw some top notch play, especially between Brian Coverley and Joe Hammond, which was won by the former. Chandlers are still leading this division and will take some stopping now.

Division Two sees BTL, BT A, Arbons Sports A and Cranmer B still competing for top places. At the other end, DVS Crowns were beaten 10-0 by Ancaster C, a result which will go along way to keeping Ancaster in mid-table.

Ancaster D beat Newark Wanderers C in Division, so it now looks as though they will probably make the top two with Chandlers C.
