TAE KWON-DO: Grantham’s Pearce will represent England at Worlds

Grantham instructor Daniel Pearce has been chosen to represent England at the Tae Kwon-Do International World Championships this weekend.

Daniel, 32, will be joining a squad of English competitors who are in action over the two day event which is going to attract the best of Tae Kwon-Do martial artists from around the world.

More than 2,000 competitors are due to attend the prestigious event at the Barclaycard arena, Birmingham. Daniel will compete in the men’s higher dan grade black belt patterns event. He gained fourth place in this event at the Welsh Championships in May.

As well as training at the King’s School in Grantham, Daniel is busy with his other clubs in Fernwood, Melton and Newark and has just opened a new class offering Tae Kwon-Do for beginners at The Venue in Navenby, near Lincoln.
