Grantham and Corby Glen Tae Kwon-Do Club recently hosted the Lincolnshire County Championships at The Meres leisure centre last weekend.

The event attracted more than 300 competitiors from throughout the county and Malcolm Scholes, Jill Pearce and Daniel Pearce, the local club instructors, entered a squad of students to take part in most categories.

The juniors entered patterns, tag-sparring, speed kicking and the spectacular and popular flying kicks division, whilst the adult members competed in separate patterns, tag-sparring and black belt destruction.

Later in the day, members were entered into team events, including two-person patterns events and three-person tag-team sparring.
