TENNIS: Draw is enough to take Grantham top of the division

Grantham Tennis Club men’s second veteran team played at home this weekend to a strong Boston 2nd side.

The Grantham side consisted of Mike Roys, Mark Farmer, Paul Kennedy and Peter Elphick.

Grantham were held to a 4-4 draw and having played three matches out of six, now find themselves at the top of the division.

Midway through the season, Grantham will be looking to maintain their good performances in order to stay top of the tree, with a genuine hope of winning the championship.
