Grantham Town’s old tea bar at the north end of the stadium is to be totally refurbished.

This means the club will be able to provide a first-class food and drinks outlet for match days.

Thanks must go to the club’s new main sponsor Simon Hopkins Electrical, who are sponsoring the work which will include the installation of a new electrical supply plus full external and internal refurbishment of the existing building.

Club director Pete Railton stated: “The club have for a long time realised that having our own food outlet on match days would give us another income stream.

“Unfortunately the cost of providing it has been beyond us, but now thanks to the additional help from Simon Hopkins the project can go ahead and we look forward to having the facility open for the start of the new season.”

Grantham Town Supporters Club Lotto (sponsored by Galaxy Fish Bar), June 18: £200 - 612 J. Smith; £10 - 1086 T. Charles; £5 - 126 C. Wright, 366 M. Gilbert, 662 J. Gilbert, 222 C. Parr, 315 B. Mendham, 632 C. Palmer.
