The young Arrows got off to a flying start to the new Mid-Lincs League season with a good solid win against a strong Rustons side.

Harrowby enjoyed a good deal of possession in the first half, with any threat from the opposition being snuffed out by the well-drilled Arrows defence.

Man of the Match Henry Dilley headed home to give the home side a first-half advantage after some great work by midfielder Marley Okoth.

The whole of the Harrowby Squad put in a good shift and their hard work and persistence paid off when Declan Naylor found space and unleashed a 20-yard strike to put the contest to bed for the home side.

Harrowby travel to Retford for their next fixture on Sunday KO 10.45am).

HARROWBY: Ward, Johnson, Cooper, Federson, Angeloni, Down, Okoth, Rowley, Meffen, Dilley, Cullen, Naylor, Foister, Hull.
