Two Grantham tennis aces will represent Lincolnshire in an upcoming inter-county competition.

Joshua Harris and Bethany Aust have both been selected to compete for Yellowbelly county in the event at Grantham Tennis Club in August.

They will face fellow under nines players from counties such as Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire, hoping to help the team progress from the regional rounds.

The duo are both Grantham Tennis Club members, coached by Richard Surtees.

They have also helped Denton Primary School win the Grantham small schools tennis title.

Tennis is definitely in Bethany’s blood as her grandmother Pam Aust also represents the county, at over 60s level.
