Aslockton Cranmers under-15s have made it into the Nottinghamshire FA County Cup Final.

Notts Youth League side Aslockton defeated Burton Joyce 3-0 in the semi-final, scoring three quick goals in extra time, courtesy of Louis Hartland and Sol Gbamashi (2). Man of the match was shared between Sam Brakewell and Pierce Hallam who put in outstanding performances.

Cranmers will now meet Mansfield Town’s Academy side in the final at Arnold on Thursday night.

Aslockton Cranmers chairman and under-15 manager Martin Hallam said: “The boys are a credit to our club, and to play a professional team’s academy in the final will be the biggest game in the club’s 15-year history.”
