Following a massive effort from club officials and parents to get the pitch ready for the match after the conditions were deemed acceptable, the two teams lined up at a snowy Lowfields.

Barrowby took an early lead through Ludew but the away side recovered and took what looked like a hefty lead at 3-1, having settled to the conditions quicker.

As the conditions improved, McKinnon was able to inject some much needed bite in midfield, and Baker, Pigram, Sandon and Loveless handled the balls played over them far better than in the first 20 minutes.

To the immense credit of this side, they fought back and the game ebbed and flowed to an eventual 5-5 scoreline with Marshall forcing a goalkeeper error in the last minutes to draw the game .
