Barrowby Magpies under-10s ended the year on a high after winning the Grove Leisure Centre Futsal Tournament on Monday.

The five-a-side event attracted a handful of Newark-based teams, with the Magpies finishing top of the round robin mini league before going on to win the ‘Champions League’ Final with a 2-0 victory over Fernwood Foxes White.

Barrowby scored a total of 30 goals and conceded 10, finishing unbeaten on the day with seven wins and four draws from 11 games. Man of the match was Curtis French.
