An open training day will be held for Sleaford Town Junior FC on Saturday, October 22

Bottesford FC is supporting Sport England’s ‘This Girl Can’ campaign with an event on Sunday.

The club is holding a Girls’ Football Open Morning, for any female between the ages of five and 11, at their Nottingham Road ground (NG13 0AP), between 10am and noon.

Any girl between these ages is welcome to come along, regardless of previous experience, for a morning run by qualified FA coaches, completely free of charge. All that girls will need to take part are suitable trainers/boots and a pair of shin pads.

Team manager Matt Burton said: “We are pleased to be able to support this worthwhile campaign to get more girls active and participating in sports, whilst also introducing new people to our thriving club. It will be a lively and most importantly fun morning for all girls of primary school age.”

For further details of this event, contact Bottesford FC girls’ managers Steve Ryan on 07809 493835, or Matt Burton on 07540 935478.
