YOUTH FOOTBALL: Grantham Town are looking to recruit more youth players

Grantham Town are actively seeking youth team players from the age of U5 to U16 ahead of the 2016/17 season.

The Gingerbreads feel with the Academy (ages 16-18) being put in place (see p94), this is now an ideal time to build on the current youth teams.

Grantham Town FC Academy Manager Alex Cross will be looking to fill the youth teams as quickly as possible: “We have had a lot of interest from players already wanting to come into the club’s youth and I think it’s mainly because the parents are seeing the progression routes that are in place, not just in football but academically as well.

The sides will all be coached by either FA or UEFA qualified coaches, and will receive assistance from both the Academy and First Team.

All youth team players receive a season ticket to the Gingerbreads’ 2016/17 Evostik Premier Division season.

To register your interest email GTFCyouth@outlook.com or call Alex Cross on 07950 350198.
