Great Ponton went straight on the attack and Barry Harrison soon opened the scoring with a great finish from an Owen Devine cross.

Harrison took advantage of a poor clearance from the Boston Keeper, making it 2-0. Ayden O’Brien was taken down inside the box and the referee had no choice but to award a penalty to Ponton. The spot kick was superbly converted by Owen Devine. Ponton never let up on the attack and a loose ball from a corner was deflected into the goal from a Liam Raitt strike.

O’Brien was again taken down inside the box, winning another penalty. This time O’Brien took the spot kick himself and slotted into right hand side of the goal.

Bobby MacDonald’s determination paid off as his shot finally hit the back of the net. Billy Bilton’s strike just crossed the line despite Boston’s efforts to clear it, making it 7-0 going into half time.

Ponton kept the pressure on in the second half, allowing Bilton to grab his second. It was not long before Harrison found the back of the net once more, completing his hat-trick. Not to be out done by his striking partner, O’Brien grabbed two more goals to complete his own hat-trick.

Rui Pires nicked the ball before the keeper could get his hands on it and booted it into the back of the net, making it 12 to the away side. MacDonald stepped up to seal the game by scoring two more goals and completing his hat-trick.
