Semi-final

Harrowby United 2

Louth Old Boys 1

Harrowby reached their first final of the season with victory by a single goal over Louth at the Environcom Stadium.

The Arrows started off the stronger of the sides, with early chances falling to Blankley and Callum Atkinson.

The deadlock was broken when a great through-ball by James found Harry Hutton on the edge of the box who finished with a first time volley, injuring himself in the process.

Louth pushed on but the Harrowby defence of Peberby, Smith, Bullimore and Willett held strong until the final kick of the first half when Louth equalised through Angus Findley.

Harrowby again came out strongly in the second half and played nice, neat football.

United’s winner came from a fantastic free kick from man-of-the-match Ryan Smith who floated in a pinpoint ball which Atkinson headed past the stranded Louth keeper.
