Great Ponton made a slow start, with both sides down to 10 men due to injuries.

The deadlock was broken when Connor Doughty fizzed in a cross for Macauley Hughes to smash home.

Ponton had numerous chances after the break and Nathan Ford-Pain was not to be denied, chipping the goalkeeper in style from 15 yards.

Ponton: Cook, Doughty, Moffat, Brain, McDonald, Gait, Renshaw, Rawding, Hughes, Ford-Pain.
